Our Team

Sharon McCready

Hi I am Sharon, an experienced Early Years Educator with a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies. I set up Cedar Montessori in 2009 catering for up to 66 preschool children daily. I was delighted when Cedar Montessori was awarded centre of Excellence by the DES in 2019. Before studying to become a Montessori teacher in 2009, I had 15 years experience in Corporate Management. I believe continued personal development is vital in the Early Years sector. My particular areas of interest include the benefits of music in the early years classroom and understanding how outdoor play promotes self-confidence, fine and gross motor skill, self-reliance, flexibility and overall co-ordination. I enjoy walking, watching hockey, skiing and I am a keen photographer.

Clara Ros

Hi, My name is Clara! I joined the Cedar Montessori team in 2022 with a Masters in Advanced Teaching Skills and an Honours Degree in Primary Education. I really enjoy every moment I spend working with young children and I look forward to working with the children and families in Cedar. I love practicing yoga and I enjoy reading – I am also very interested in travelling and trying out new food from around the world. I try to learn from everything I do and every person I meet, especially from the children and the way they see the world.

Ana Sacramento

Hi, I’m Ana! I graduated from Early Childhood Education and have been working with children for more than 10 years. I am from Portugal and have been living and working in Ireland for a number of years. I have worked in different countries, constantly learning and updating my practice in Early Years. I joined the great team in Cedar Montessori in 2018. Children constantly remind us of what is essential and beautiful in the world and evoke our awe. Being able to share a classroom and provide them with learning experiences is a real privilege and my professional passion.
